THE HISTORY OF CORAL REEF WATERWORLD

In 1989 the Coral Reef swimming pool in Bracknell was opened with a special ceremony.

There were pirates present and the Mayor with a pair of scissors to do the opening.
 
It was a happy day for kids who loved swimming in Berkshire.

Then in 2016 it was announced that Coral Reef would be closed for a big renovation project costing approximately £13 million.

Now, this fantastic attraction is known for its thrilling waterslides, an erupting volcano, a pirate ship, and many other exciting features.

Parking: The car park at Coral Reef Waterworld operates on a pay & display basis, and it is subject to car park enforcement rules.

Upon arrival at the reception visitors of Coral Reef are required to provide their vehicle registration details to the front of house team.

In return, they will receive a virtual parking permit that grants them 5 hours of free parking without the need for pay and display.

Please note that customers who continue to pay and display will not be eligible for refunds.

During weekends, school holidays, and bank holidays, the car park tends to get busy.

It’s advisable for visitors to arrive with ample time to safely find a parking spot.

Visitors who hold a Blue Badge are exempt from the parking restrictions provided that their badge is clearly displayed.

RIDES AT CORAL REEF WATERWORLD

Coral Reef Waterworld features a range of thrilling rides consisting of five interactive water slides.

Visitors can choose from different slides based on their preferences.
 
The gentler Aqua Splash is suitable for younger children and families while the Cannon, Storm Chaser, and Maelstrom slides offer a more adventurous experience.

In order to ride the slides individuals must be at least 1.2 meters tall.

The swimming pool at Coral Reef Waterworld is designed to maximise enjoyment.

It includes a free-form leisure pool, rapids, a bubble pool, a children's area called Little Corals, fountains, and even a pirate ship.

These features are designed to ensure that everyone has a great time and enjoys themselves to the fullest extent possible.

It’s important to note that all children under the age of eight must be accompanied in the water by a responsible adult who is 18 years or older.

And there should be at least one adult for every two children to ensure safety.

CORAL SPA AREA

Adults have the opportunity to relax and treat themselves in the tranquil atmosphere of the Coral Spa.

It offers three saunas, a Japanese steam room, a spa pool, a cool pool, and heated sun loungers.

Whether for a full day or a few hours the Coral Spa is an ideal place to escape from daily stresses.

A Coral Spa ticket includes access to the Coral pools and slides.
