Conference & Sales Executive

We are looking for an enthusiastic Conference and Events Sales Executive to join our team at Easthampstead Park Hotel in Wokingham.  This critical role will be varied and suit a dedicated and highly organised person who can work on their own initiative. The ideal candidate will already have previous experience in a similar role dealing with conference & meetings enquiries, from the initial request, right the way through to hand over of the event to our Operations team. Knowledge of Outlook and Word are essential, while knowledge of Opera/Micros will be beneficial. Salary: £28K per annum.

 

Primary Responsibilities
•    Working as part of the Sales Team, dealing with conference and meetings enquiries that come through the sales office (by email, telephone or in person)
•    Organising and conducting full show rounds of the venue to potential clients
•    Creating proposals and contracts for clients and following through to ensure we win business
•    Creating sales from the show rounds and enquiries
•    Building and developing relationships with booked clients
•    Event planning through to final details ensuring attention to detail at all times
•    Working with Opera system to create contracts and function sheets to ensure detailed handover to the operations team
•    Having a good commercial understanding of a hotel meetings and events / sales function
•    Having the skill set to negotiate if required and dealing with all different types of cliental

We are looking for a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef De Partie. You will support the Head Chef in the daily operation of our kitchen. Weddings & Events Manager (Operational)

We are seeking a dynamic Operational Wedding and Events Manager to run weddings and events in our stunning hotel. You will need positive energy, excellent communication skills, a passion for service excellence and be of immaculate presentation.

PLEASE NOTE: This is an operational role which often includes late nights and weekends when you are running a wedding or event. It can be physically demanding and is not an office-based administrative role.

Primary Responsibilities
Operating all conferencing, weddings and banqueting on site.
Organising and conducting training in line with brand standards.
Leading the conference and banqueting team in delivering a first class service at all events.
The set up and tear down of all event rooms in line with function requirements.
Meeting and greeting clients to build and develop a lasting relationship.
Working in line with the sales team to ensure a smooth transition from time of enquiry to time of leaving.

Skills/Experience
Excellent maths and English
Hotel / Hospitality background
Team leader experience.
Knowledge of Opera, preferred but not essential
Microsoft office – word, excel, outlook etc.
General qualities
Excellent written and oral communication – must be confident and articulate
Creative – originality and new ideas highly valued
Eye for design with high attention to detail
Well organised
Very well presented in keeping with client expectations in a four star Hotel

This position would suit an experienced Chef with a love for using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients with a creative and aspiring mind. Wedding and Events Sales Executive

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Weddings and Events Sales Executive to join our team at our stunning venue - Easthampstead Park Hotel in Wokingham. This critical role will be varied and suit a dedicated and highly organised person who can work on their own initiative. 

We are ideally looking for someone that has previous experience working in a similar role who is enthusiastic about weddings.

The ideal candidate will be highly customer focused team player with a positive demeanour and can-do attitude. The ability to work under pressure whilst displaying a keen eye for detail and excellent communication are key to this role alongside a warm and genuine approach.

F&B Assistant | Full Time

As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will be part of a Team of Food & Beverage service professionals to ensure guest expectations are exceeded, as a result of a seamless service delivery. You will be required to be flexible around all Food & Beverage areas including restaurant, bar, room service, al fresco dining and lounge and afternoon tea offering. As Food & Beverage Assistant, you will also be required to support on weddings and special events. Whilst experience within a high-end restaurant/bar/venue is desirable, a passion for excellence, a can-do attitude and a willingness to learn is essential.
